Kudos to M!

As many of you know, I have recently started working out of MoonDancer in Corrales.  So far, it's been kind of like "Cheers" for psychics and healers.  When a regular walks in we all cry their name in a toast of welcome, and though we drink herbal tea and water while sitting at a marble round table - there isn't much difference in the overall plot and storyline. Recently, my new friend, who I shall call "M" for the purposes of this blog, came into the shop while three psychics and a holy man were sitting at the marble table shooting the holy breeze. Not sure what to do, she attempted to have a conversation with just one of the psychics, (me) and since psychics and holy men just won't put up with being left out, especially not while sitting at a round table, where all are equal and all demand to be equally involved in a conversation - everyone jumped in. M had a problem which was large but fixable. Her life was being thrown into chaos by her needing to become the sole-supporter of  her family.  Her husband had been called to take care of some urgent but non-paying business out of state which would take some months to complete.  She ran a service business at a deeply discounted rate, and was not sure she was going to be able to stay in her current home. Psychic 1:  You will be moving. Psychic 2: You have a problem of self-worth Holy Man: When was the last time you looked in the mirror and said "I love you?" Psychic 3 (me): You really do need to raise your rates. Psychic 1: Absolutely, why haven't you done that yet? Psychic 2: No one will respect you if you don't respect yourself first, and you should respect yourself... look at you - you are a wonderful human being! Holy Man: You didn't answer my question... do you remember when the last time you looked in the mirror and said "I love you" was? M: Well, it was just a few weeks ago, after the last time you told me to do that. Holy Man: And how did you feel when you said it? M: Weird Holy Man:  That's 'cause you don't say it to yourself enough! Psychic 2: You have to believe it! Psychic 1:  (Nodding) Psychic 3: (thinking only: Oh Dear God, if I were M... I would be running out of here screaming right now.  Wait, what's that?  Someone needs me to do a reading now?)  Sorry M, I'll be right back... I've got to take this call for a reading. I don't know how much time passed while I was in that reading -  I went to the place where all times merge into one  so I don't remember even who the reading client was...   I just remember I left M out at the marble round table with two psychics and a Holy Man all trying to help her, and there was a debate heating up between M's "I'm not worthy!" lower self and three powerful people in a triad of power speaking truth against it. I needn't have worried about M. She survived having her lower-self confronted by this triad of power.  She raised her rates and also did some healthy meditating on her self worth.  And then she came back to that marble table again - more confident than before. She did her work.

Being a "Spiritual" person? Or just Being?

My mother was the probably one of the most naturally psychic people I ever met. She was an atheist. This was problematic, Seriously problematic, because she was often dealing with spiritual phenomena,

What is a Spirit Medium?

When I was learning spirit mediumship, my teachers loved to remind me.  "All mediums are psychics, but not all psychics are mediums."  Their words have been reverberating in my mind the past few weeks
