Alejandro Escovedo and Surviving Red Mountain Pass

Joyfully, this moving process requires travel through the high passes of Colorado.

On the way to storage, I stopped into the Lake City Wine Festival and saw Alejandro Escovedo play some very fine music with Carrie Rodriguez on the fiddle!

Alejandro played his song "People" at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, and has had his own miraculous healing from Hepatitis... when he was diagnosed, he had no health insurance and "people" chipped in to pay and pray for his recovery.

Check out his music above!

On the way home from storage in Montrose, I challenged my new fear of heights (from a fall from my horse breaking a vertebrae) and drove Red Mountain Pass home... see...

It was phenomenally beautiful... and steep!!
