I was once told that every decision made in one's life causes a parallel reality...a separate, but complete reality in which one lives out a different set of opportunities. Further, that with the proper level of advancement and mental outlook, one could visit those other realities with full understanding and with the knowledge of those other experiences. As if one is currently conscious of the life we are living, and one must simply switch consciousness from this life to one of the (many) parallel lives.
What have you seen that either confirms, corrects or clarifies this mind-bending idea?

I personally have not experienced parallel realities, What I experience are energetic probability points. When I am asked about scenarios and outcomes of making different decisions, because a decision is imagined and considered, there becomes an energy potential and "probability point" for that decision, as well as a series of resulting probability points that follow from it. A cascade effect of potential intention. But, nothing actually manifests until you decide and committ to a decision... then the question becomes "Who is the me who is deciding and how can it have so much power to effect manifestation in reality? Where does this me who decides exist? Is it a parallel reality? Or someplace else beyond all probabilities, realities, and potential realities?" What I have experienced are parallel dimensions... and these are very different than energetic probabilities and potential realities with a myriad of infinite slightly different "me" deciders and actors in them. These have varying degrees of physicality and various different kinds of sentient and intelligent beings living within them...when I consider these I find my universe gets very large and not focused on the egoic, self-centered, "me" or even the non-egoic, self-centered "me." Some people like the idea of parallel realities existing around all of their alternate decisions, made and unmade... but I am not sure there is enough energy in the universe to support all of these infinite alternate versions of physical manifestation. I don't know that there isn't... I just don't feel that the physical universe works this way.
